What Is AccuTite?

AccuTite is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that tightens and contours small areas of the face and body. The procedure targets fat deposits and stimulates collagen production using radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL). In turn, this enhances a youthful appearance and tones the body. With AccuTite, you can target specific concerns in various areas and achieve a precise treatment within a shorter amount of time, including lower eyelids, nasolabial folds, and jowls.

What Can I Expect During My AccuTite Procedure?

As part of the AccuTite process, Dr. Little will discuss goals with the patient, evaluates the patient's suitability, and explains the procedure. Physical examinations and medical histories may be part of this process.During the procedure, the treatment area is cleaned, and a local anesthetic is administered to numb the area and ensure comfort.

During this procedure, a tiny, thin tube (a cannula) is inserted through a small incision. Using radiofrequency energy, this cannula is equipped with an energy source. Cannulas deliver controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy to targeted areas. By heating the underlying tissue, small fat deposits melt and collagen production is stimulated. As a result of the heat, the skin is also tightened.

Using a cannula, the provider treats specific areas carefully. Depending on the size of the area and the number of areas treated, the procedure typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. Following the treatment, the cannula is removed, and the tiny incision is closed with a bandage or steri-strips. To reduce swelling and promote healing, a compression garment or bandage may be applied to the treated area.

With AccuTite, you can see noticeable results in tightening and contouring the skin with minimal downtime and minimal invasiveness.

  • The recovery time following an AccuTite procedure is typically quick and straightforward, but can vary depending on the treated area and individual factors. Immediately after the procedure, patients may experience mild swelling, redness, and bruising, along with some discomfort that can be managed with over-the-counter pain medications. It takes about a week for swelling and redness to subside, and most patients are able to resume normal activities after 24 hours. If a patient is experiencing severe swelling or redness, they should avoid strenuous activities for a few days afterward. Elevating the head can reduce swelling if you are treating a facial area.

It takes about a week for swelling and bruising to subside, and any minor discomfort to subside as well. One week after the procedure, most visible signs should be significantly reduced, and any residual bruises can usually be covered with makeup. Over the next few months, collagen production will continue, causing further tightening and improvement of the skin. For optimal results, adherence to specific post-care instructions, including avoiding direct sun exposure and using sunscreen, is essential for monitoring progress and addressing any concerns.
